It happened just after midnight at the intersection of East Fountain Boulevard and Jet Wing Drive. According to police reports, an SUV that was headed west on Fountain Boulevard proceeded through a red light at the intersection.
Reportedly, the SUV then crashed into a car that was traveling south on Jet Wing Drive. Authorities said the driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV was arrested for suspected drunk driving.
