Driver flees after striking pedestrian

According to reports from Denver police, the driver of a white 4-door sedan hit a pedestrian who was walking alongside the road. The driver then sped away from the scene.
Authorities said the pedestrian was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. Officers reported the sedan that allegedly struck the pedestrian was recently reported stolen. Police are still searching for the vehicle and driver and said the suspected vehicle may have damage to the front passenger side. They are urging anyone who sees the vehicle or has information about the incident to call 911.
