Unfortunately, not all drivers in Colorado are as careful or attentive as they should be behind the wheel. No one can predict an accident will happen. Being involved in a serious accident is one of the most traumatic events anyone can experience. Serious car accidents can leave victims dealing with long-term or permanent physical and emotional consequences.
Details of deadly wreck
Recently in Aurora, a woman lost her life and several others were injured in an accident involving three vehicles. The crash happened during the morning hours at the intersection of North Airport Boulevard and East 40th Avenue. According to accident reports, the driver of an SUV was headed east along East 40th Avenue when, apparently, the driver ran the red light at the intersection.
Reportedly, the SUV crashed into a Jeep that was traveling northbound on Northern Airport Boulevard. Reports said a sedan headed westbound on East 40th Avenue was also involved in the accident. Tragically, a passenger in the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, authorities said. Three others were injured in the wreck and were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Where can victims and families go for help?
Although injuries suffered in an accident can be life-changing, victims in Colorado have options available. Colorado residents who have suffered injuries or loss due to negligence in car accidents have every right to speak with a legal representative about pursuing claims for monetary damages. By filing a lawsuit, victims and families could obtain rightful and deserved compensation to help with monetary losses that may have resulted from this experience.
