Those who drive while under the influence of alcohol not only put themselves at risk, but they also endanger the lives of all those around them. Pile-up crash
Recently, a four-vehicle pile-up crash in Colorado Springs caused injuries to two people and left a driver facing very serious charges. The accident happened at night near Stetson Hills Boulevard and Powers Boulevard. Apparently, four vehicles were involved in a pile-up type of crash and two other nearby vehicles were also impacted.
DUI charges
According to reports, two people were taken to the hospital. However, it was reported that their injuries were not life-threatening. Authorities said alcohol was a major factor in the accident. One driver was arrested and charged with DUI, police said.
Police forces in Colorado do a great job of keeping intoxicated drivers off the road, as well as educating the public about the dangers of drunk driving.
